Most of the new blogger doing this great mistake on choosing their blog topic. If you create a blog which you’re not interested, how can you think that you will do best on it? Write about something you are passionate about. Select a blog topic which you will love to explore and learn more.
I did that mistake 3 more times and failed to get blogging success. You know I’ve 3 more failed blog and all those are just because of choosing topic which I was not much interested. I love to read blog and followed some other and created that blogs. I didn’t think that topics are not good for me.
When you’ll create a blog then should think that you’re really interested on topic.

It’s really funny when you will write something about gaming on food blog. You should be active to the topic you started with and continue on it. You know it’s always better to target a particular readers.

Most of the people have short time interest on something which they’re eating. But blogging is a different thing then eating so you should be keep writing on topic that you started.

You should think more about the competition of your blog topic.
If you start a blog which already has been full on web, then its something what will have more competition. It will be really difficult to get enough traffics for your blog. Because, those websites or blogs are older and popular than you with containing more contents and well indexed in search engines.
Competing these blogs with a brand new blog would be a wrong thing. Try to find a topic for your blog which is less availability on internet and interesting. I think you know about keywords research tools and i think you should try Google AdWords and Semrush.
I don’t force to ignore large competitive blog topic and you can also write blog about it. Just mind that you’re writing more well and giving better solution on it.
4. Make Sure a Profitable Blog Topic
Don’t worry, if you’re blogging as a hobby!
You can write anything about you want or favorite. Because, you don’t need to think more about profit.
The problem is when you will blog for money. You must be serious on taking a blog topic that will bring money for you. Try to choose a blog topic which not only you but also millions of people interested in. Just think that about your daily search and also which people searching on web. I think you should be more trendy to make money from blogging. You can check the topic on Google Trends, then you will know about how many people searching it.
5. Can You Write Well About it?
Finally you should make sure that can write well about the topic.
It must not happen that you can’t write more about topic and run out of idea. Without good knowledge or experience you can’t write more on that topic. If you’re web designer then should blog about web design but if you write about interior design then your writing will not be good.
Write well also mean “writing more contents“.
So, select a best blog topic which you can write about for a long period of time. Starting a blog on “iPhone X” model that will not be good because it will not have enough posts. You can try to write about “all iPhone”. I just saying it as a example, and you can also write with about iPad.
